City of Milpitas California was founded
in 1852 and incorporated on January 26, 1954. The City
of Milpitas is comprised on 14.5 square miles and has
approximately 18,000 households. The city has a senior
center, sports center and teen center. It provides access
to Interstates 680, 880 and 237 as well as Montague
Expressway and the County light rail and bus systems.
It is close to San Jose International Airport, Oakland
International airport and the Fremont BART Station.
The City of Milpitas has 28 parks on a total of 166
acres. 18 of the parks have tennis courts and one is
a dog park. Ed Levin County Park resides in the City
of Milpitas.

Law – The City of Milpitas Police Department
provides an online Megan’s Law Sexual Offender
Map of the approximate location where a registrant lives.
In addition to the online information, the police department
makes available for public viewing a computer database
of registered sex offenders. It is located in the lobby
of the police department. Applicants must show a picture
ID, be at least 18 years of age, and sign a request
to review stating their purpose in order to have access
to the database. |
